Okay when you get your phone ready to text after you add the contact theres a option tab on the bottom its gives you options for fonts, bold, color, etc. I like using the magenta text but all the time i have to click option and instead of using black i have to scroll down to the color that i want. Is there a way for me to just keep it on magenta?

Lol not many people do.... However, older phones cannot read the background or text colors... I know the new chocolate can and the enV can, dunno about other phones though.

man i guess i have to break my fingers every time just to change the color of my text  Smiley. its okay i just hate writing in the same color (black) i like my texts to look nice

Im pretty sure Verizon users are the only ones that can read the color/size/etc difference in the font, too.

And usually if you add those changes and try to send to a nonVZW user, you will get a text message back telling you it was sent as basic text, just like if you send a text that is longer than 160 characters to someone off the network.
