let me know what u think by the way on ebay you can fine 8gb micro sd for 25$ free shipping. Class 2 though but for that money you can't beat it.

If you got 16gb micro sdhc you would fit twice as many movies

So I am new to this.  From what I am reading people are converting their videos to mp4 and can play them on the voyager?  I thought that the format had to be 3gp and I have been using ultra mobile 3gb video converter to do my conversions.

I use Handbrake - free downlaod at handbrake.fr

I work in post-production and we use this to rip video from DVDs for edits sometimes. I ahven't used any other converter but am satisfied with this one.

Not sure if other converters do thsi but with Handbrake I can set a target file size, instead of putting in low bitrates. So if I want a 400MB file, I get one at the best quality possible.

Also has both H263 and H264 codecs, as well as FFMpeg and Divx.

I must say, Prism is a great converter (the only one i have used.haha) I like how easy it is to convert. I have been hearing good things about Handbrake too and thought about trying it out as well. I was making the mistake of converting all my videos to 3gp. Now finally read somewhere to use Mp4. And the quality is much better. Takes up more space but that's ok.

i have no problems with quality with 3gp or 3g2. mp4 may make it easeir to fast forward and keep the sound in sync, not really sure because I rarely use mp4

I have tried a number of converters with different results. Some good some bad. The best I have found is a program called Any DVD Converter Professional. You can download a basic copy that is free. It is limited in file formats but it has what you need for your Voyager. The professional is $39.95 and has just about all the converters and you can set it up to download videos from any web site ie You Tube, google video etc. just google the name and try it. Make sure you get it from the softwares home page. The copy I got had no spy ware in it. I don't trust some of the sites it was available from.

Ok everyone, I'm not the brightest when it comes to the video converting. How do you change the resolution to fit the screen on the Voyager. Really appreciate any help. Thanks, Teri

I had Prism, then decided after reading a post about Handbrake decided to try it. I do like it better then Prism. For me it is easier to use. And have found after only converting a few movies(DVD), that it seem to make them smaller in MB size by almost half. The quality seems to excellent, and there are several options to get the best result.
