The wife and I don't tend to go out on New Year's Eve. However, this year, my wife's sisters wanted to give her an early surprise birthday party (her birthday is January 31) as a couple of the sisters had to come in from out of town.

Well,  she was surprised and everyone had a good time.  Next year?  We'll probably revert to our Dick Clark show watching and open up a bottle of champagne.  We're boring, what can I say? Cry
