Okay so I been having troubles with my voyager. At first I took it to the Verizon store and they actually downgraded my phone to firmware 11 because I was having problems. I have no idea why they did that because that was like the 4th time i went it that store for firmware upgrades, because my phone hasn't been working for months.

It seemed like they didn't want me to get a new phone. So after like 2 days of playing with the old/new firmware it ends up showing the same disabilities (shutting off, incorrect battery bars, and wasn't sending/receiving text).

I went back to the store later that week and they just sent me a refurbished one. But now that I have this one, its even worse. I don't understand why they would release this phone if it barely works. I mean this thing is garbage. It shuts off like every 10 minutes. I even replaced the battery.

Well anyways to get to the point, I just want to upgrade to the touch, but is there any deals I can get out of it? I heard that some people can get there phone replaced for only 50 dollars, and some get it free. Any help?

Also if I do get it do I need the administrator for the phone? Because my mom pays for my phone, and when i got the refurbished one she didn't need to come.

Stop going to the store if they aren't giving you the response to your problem that you would like.  Call customer service and tell them, very calmly, that you have been through too many phones and you are tired of it.  Explain that your friend just got his Voyager replaced with an enV Touch and it is working great and you would like the same deal.  Technically their policy is that they must offer you a new phone model after 3 replacements for the same issue. If you didn't have the same problem with each phone, they can still give you the run around. But if you play your cards right, you might find a nice CS rep that is willing to help you out.
